The Procedure Nurse is responsible for provision and management of patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations. The Procedure Nurse delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Position requires a degree from an accredited RN school of nursing and a current Alabama RN license. One-year clinical RN experience required.
Preferred: One-year experience in a Recovery Room setting preferred. Previous experience with conscious sedation.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Required:
Current Alabama RN license
Current CPR certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment
ACLS certification or must be obtained within 6 months of employment
PALS certification within 6 months of employment
