Responsibilities:
- Conduct standardized assessments to evaluate children's gross motor, fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing and ADL skills
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs
- Provide therapy sessions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, ADL's and mobility
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document client's evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner
- Educate clients and their families on strategies for improving daily functioning
Skills:
- Strong care and compassion for patients
-Understanding of developmental milestones and sensory regulation
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Experience working with pediatric populations is desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical setting
