Job Summary:
The HVAC Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of our service department. This role is responsible for managing a team of service technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining service quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of HVAC service technicians.
- Monitor and manage service calls, work orders, and technician schedules
- Ensure all service activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and within budget.
- Develop and manage the service department budget.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Implement cost-control measures and strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Monitor job progress, provide technical support, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development for service technicians.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock of parts and equipment.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction
- Implement and maintain service policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Prepare and present regular reports on service department performance.
- Address and rectify any quality or performance issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience in residential and light commercial HVAC service, with at least two years in a managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
- Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in using service management software and other relevant tools.
- HVAC certification is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data and implement strategic improvements.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficient in using service management software and tools.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record pursuant to company policy

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
