Position: Production Artist/Graphic Designer (Contractor)
We are seeking a skilled Production Artist to join our Marketing team on a contractor basis. We have a rapidly growing product catalog and need help in creating assets to support all our product launches. If you have a proven track record based on our needs, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Use graphic design software and tools to perform detailed photo touch-ups including color adjustments, object removal, image cleanup and optimization for web, print and social media.
- Work closely with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality edited images that meet client expectations.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the greater team to ensure the edited images align with the overall project vision and brand guidelines.
- Stay updated with industry trends and techniques in photo editing and graphic design to continuously improve skills and workflows.
- Maintain organized files and documentation of edited images for future reference and revisions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to clarify project requirements and provide progress updates.
- Ensure all edited images meet technical specifications and quality standards for various digital and print platforms.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in photo touch-ups, particularly in product color changes, object removal, and image enhancement.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, and other relevant graphic design software.
- Solid understanding of color theory, composition, and typography in relation to photo editing and graphic design.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (preferred).
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Knowledge of the sports community, sports media and social media
- Previous experience working in an agency or studio setting.
- Familiarity with project management tools like ASANA.
- Experience with 3D rendering or product visualization.
- Knowledge of video editing and motion graphics.
- Understanding of HTML/CSS and web design principles.
