Server Job Description
Duties:
- Provide exceptional guest services by sitting customers down, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
- Practice proper food handling and safety procedures during food preparation and serving.
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately as well as answering the phones to take orders.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders as well as taking food to the table
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
- Build positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
