The Logistics Coordinator is part of Supply Chain Management and reports directly to the Logistics Manager. This position will involve coordination of shipping, receiving, warehousing, and related material handling and truck loading/unloading. Will require working occasionally outside in the elements some shipments and movement of materials. It will also have some inventory responsibilities. Integra usually ships equipment on flatbeds, and mostly shipped to our active construction sites. These loads include machinery, components, and parts that are needed for work to continue at our jobsites. Organization, urgency, and thoroughness are essential to success in this job, as are solid teamwork skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepares products for shipping, completes shipping paperwork and ships products both domestically and This includes packaging and palletizing the product/equipment.
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and individual must be able to communicate via email and phone with customers/logistic suppliers and perform simple calculations to determine how to be palletized and create packing
- Ensures that product is handled in accordance with customer specifications, internal processes, hazardous material requirements, and those of domestic and international
- Receives incoming shipments and signs paperwork upon Delivers shipments to departments within the company.
- Inspects contents to ensure they are undamaged and match the packing
- Verifies packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price ) and puts away items by lifting as necessary or by using a forklift or pallet jack for larger items.
- Completes information on damage claims for in-transit
- Organizes, cleans, and catalogues items within the warehouse, maintains accurate records and assists with inventory control.
- Schedules large shipments and plans logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the
- Will occasionally be responsible for coordination of shipments to or from alternate Integra locations, including manufacturing sites as well as job sites.
- Keeps files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers.
- Troubleshoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and works to resolve any
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-year Logistics experience
- Experience working with domestic and international shippers with knowledge of their systems and processes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
- Basic math and recording
- Forklift experience (preferred)
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal abilities
- Manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to lift up to 50
