- After Care 3 days per week from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
As an Apollo Dance Instructor, you will be expected to have a reliable means of personal transportation and be able to work in our extended-day program at various after-school sites in the New Jersey area.

Apollo After School offers after-school care and enrichment clubs at local schools. We seek outgoing, personable, and reliable dance teachers for our school-based programs in the area. If you don't have a degree as a professional dancer or in education, no problem! While this is highly valuable we encourage candidates who have a real, genuine passion for working with children and dancing to apply!

As an Apollo Dance Instructor, your responsibilities will be:
- As an Apollo Dance Instructor, you will have the opportunity to impact children through dance positively.

Develop lesson plans

Planning and implementing engaging dance lessons for children aged Pre K - 5th grade, with a focus on beginner-level.

Organize an end-of-year recital.

In charge of executing recreational dances.

Creating a positive and inclusive class environment allowing kids to feel valuable and supported.

Teaching dance techniques, choreography, and coordination skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression.

Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during dance classes.
The requirements for our Dance Instructor are:
- Must enjoy dancing and have a strong desire to inspire young dancers.

Knowledge of different dance styles (Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, etc).

Experience teaching dance to kids is a plus.

Ability to create fun engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans.

Excellent communication skills.

Energetic, patient, and knowledgeable on how to share positive feedback.

Great ability to motivate and encourage young dancers.

Availability to move to different sites.
