Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end close process: Review and post key journals, accruals, and intercompany entries. Ensure financial statement accuracy and timely reporting.
- Manage the general ledger: Review account activity, prepare journal entries, and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Support statutory and management reporting: Provide necessary deliverables and facilitate month-end flash reporting to corporate.
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day accounting operations: Manage accounts payable, cash management, inventory, general ledger, government reporting, and monthly financial reports.
- Manage, train, and assist a team of 3-4: Set performance and development objectives, and conduct annual performance reviews.
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting: Offer insights and support to enhance financial planning.
- Perform sales and use tax calculations and reporting: Ensure compliance and accuracy in tax-related activities.
- Handle various projects: Manage initiatives related to payroll, assets, and inventory as needed.
- Assist with the annual financial review/audit: Ensure accurate deliverables and compliance.
- Provide leadership: Leverage industry knowledge and best practices to guide the team and promote the company vision.
- Plan, manage, and organize daily activities and month-end tasks: Ensure smooth operations and timely completion of accounting processes.
- Collaborate with internal and parent company stakeholders: Address requirements, deliverables, and expectations effectively.
- Enhance financial reporting processes: Lead projects to improve systems, procedures, and overall efficiency.
- Maintain accounting principles, practices, and controls: Ensure financial integrity and compliance.
- Undertake ad hoc projects: Review internal controls, streamline workstreams, and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
· 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, preferably CPA
· Large ERP system (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards)
· Manufacturing or logistic industry experience
· 3 years of leadership experience
· Process improvement oriented

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
