We are seeking Coffee Professionals and Coffee Fanatics to grow with us.
Hogan Brothers Coffee Roasters, New England’s first Consumer Centric Artisanal Coffee Roaster is seeking both seasoned and newbie coffee professionals and coffee fanatics to join our Team.

Open positions include:
Master Roaster- In this position qualified candidates will work with our Roasting Team’s Master Roaster and Apprentice Roasters to acclimate to our roasting techniques and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a Master Roaster accreditation from the Specialty Coffee Association but it is not necessary. Other Candidates with some experience and those with strong work ethics and skills will be carefully considered.

Part Time Apprentice Roasters and Production Assistants- Previous experience is also preferred for this position and we will consider candidates who can demonstrate the aptitude and skills required to perform in this Team role.

Both Coffee Roaster positions will require a strong commitment to the Craft of roasting coffee. Must love coffee, and demonstrate the necessary aptitude to manage and carry out a broad array of skills and responsibilities to be successful in the positions.
Primary responsibility while reporting to the Company President & CEO include the following:
Ordering, cupping, roasting, grinding, and packaging coffee. Monitoring and maintaining coffee inventory. Manage deadlines for product availability and distribution.
Operating Coffee Roasters.
Ability to communicate effectively with Staff.
Sample roasting and cupping new coffees with owner and staff.
Working with Owner and staff in creating and perfecting new offerings.
Work closely with other Production members to accomplish all responsibilities within required timelines.
Assist, when necessary, with local coffee deliveries.
Working with Production crew to maintain cleanliness/sanitation and operation of all equipment and work areas
Barista experience a plus but not required.
Understanding and knowledge of food safety best practices.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel & Office.
Must be motivated, dependable and detail oriented.
Self-starter who is creative and can maintain focus and productivity.
Has a Team spirit.
Excellent time management skills.
Fluent in English.
Willingness to go above and beyond expectations.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
A strong work ethic supported by prior experience.
Love working with team Members to serve our customers with the finest and freshest Artisanal Coffees.
Can manage several operational activities at the same time.
The desire to grow with a highly respected company and Team of professionals who are committed to our craft.
You Will struggle in this role if:
You are not comfortable with basic Math Skills or are not comfortable managing multiple tasks at the same time.

Contract Coffee Equipment Repair Technicians
Part Time Coffee Equipment Repair Technicians
We are seeking Contract Coffee Equipment Repair Technicians who can help us service Brewing Equipment at our customer locations.
In this role you will work closely with our Service Dept. to administer service to our network of Customers. Candidates should be familiar with Bunn Equipment and possess either a Service Technician Certificate from one of the prominent equipment suppliers or have several years of experience in coffee equipment service and repairs
