Job Summary
The Clean Weigher is responsible for weighing carts and entering data into the computer, and manually loading carts onto delivery trucks when necessary.
Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
The Clean Weigher may perform some or all of the following duties during a given shift:

Pushing or pulling carts to and from the weighing station

Check packing orders and confirm all orders have been completed for the day

Weigh carts and enter weight and items into a computer to generate shipping manifests
-
Stage completed carts on dock by customer accounts
-
Assisting in loading completed carts into the trucks, when necessary
-
Demonstrates friendly and respectful behavior in the work environment

Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
-
Ability to read and write English
-
Computer and math skills typically associated with a high school level education
-
Quality orientation and high attention to detail
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
-
Strong teamwork skills - ready and willing to work closely with team members
-
Willing to rotate shifts depending on production need
-
Open to long hours and working weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
-
Pass a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in a plant environment
Requirements:
Physical Requirements
-
Physical demands consist of constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting 50 pounds or more
Physical demands consist of the ability to move rolling carts of varying weights and sizes - - up to 800 pounds.

Repetitive hand movement includes simple and power grasping, fine manipulation and pushing and pulling items up to 50 pounds on a constant basis.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Required to wear and use personal protective equipment as needed

Ability to hear for safety and awareness of surroundings.

Ability to meet the physical demands for the entire shift.
Work Environment
Production areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, which includes working with and around large machinery, variations in temperature (non-air-conditioned work area), noise, humidity, and other hazards.
