Responsibilities:
- Supports accurate and timely bed placement and the scheduling and staffing process of clinical nursing units.

Collaborates with the Patient Care Supervisor and ensures accurate and timely record keeping, reporting, and computer data entry to ensure appropriate patient placement for optimal care provision.
- Coordinates and facilitates all direct admissions and transfers to UPH – Trinity in accordance with established processes and regulatory guidelines.

Reviews and maintains an in-depth knowledge of assigned system applications, related departmental polices, procedures, and business operations, staffing and scheduling principles.
- Collaborates with and advises department staff, directors, and management in ongoing analysis and design of scheduling practices resulting in optimized use, training, and support processes within the clinical units.
Qualifications:
Education:

Diploma from an RN Program
Experience:

Minimum of two years of inpatient nursing experience.
License(s)/Certification(s):

Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.

Must apply within 90 days for Registered Nurse licensure in secondary state.

Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
