The Human Resources Director will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all HR functions for our two locations. This individual will be a team of one, responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, with the ability to work autonomously and effectively resolve HR issues.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on HR matters.
- Drive organizational development and change management initiatives.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
- Implement effective onboarding and training programs for new employees.
- Develop and manage performance management systems to ensure employee growth and development.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
Compliance and Policy Development:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee records and HR documentation.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and manage the annual salary review process.
- Administer employee benefits programs and address related inquiries.
HR Operations:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll processing and HRIS management.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR processes.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR practices.
Ideal Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in a fast-growth and rapidly changing environment, experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry required.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Experience deploying new HRIS software a plus.

Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
