As our bookkeeper you will be an essential part of our financial team, responsible for a range of tasks supporting the accurate and efficient management of financial data and transactions.
In this role your duties and responsibilities will include bookkeeping, assisting with office administration including ordering office supplies, hiring maintenance for HVAC system and snow removal, and other clerical duties as needed. Duties are not limited to those listed below and may include other tasks as directed by management.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable through General Ledger. Keep financial records, establish and maintain and balance various accounts using TRAMS. Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance, maintain general ledger and prepare financial statements.
- Weekly Payroll processing through ADP
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, and insurance both health and company policies. This includes workers compensation audit.
- Accurately process and manage owner payouts, ensuring they are made on time and in accordance with agreed-upon terms.
- Address client and agent inquiries immediately.
- Issue agent commission statements and calculate commission due to be paid monthly
- Calculate and prepare payments for utility, tax and other bills.
- Maintain meticulous records of all transactions and communications.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Multiple Bank Reconciliations
- Prepare client, statistical, financial and accounting reports.
- Dispute Credit Card Chargebacks.
- Process daily work from Sabre to Trams and balance with ARC daily (Training Provided)
- Reconcile debit memos
- Office supply ordering
- Shop and order oil and retain a contract for snow plowing.
- Review ticketing for accuracy for large meetings (Training Provided)
- Meet with vendors, set up lunch and learn sessions.
Skills Requirements
- Trams Back Office : Training and Support Provided
- ClientBase Online : Training and Support Provided
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Teams, and Excel.
- Excellent Command of English, both Written and Verbal.
- Experience in the travel/hospitality industry would be beneficial, but not necessary.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem Solver and ability to work with staff
We offer:
Salary: $45K-$50K per annum subject to experience and qualifications
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week / 8 hour shift
