Join our team at Franbyte Business Consulting as an Independent Franchise Consulting Agent and become a key player in transforming the aspiration of business ownership into a tangible reality. In this role, you'll guide prospective entrepreneurs through the comprehensive journey of identifying, assessing, financing, and acquiring a franchise business that resonates with their principles and objectives. Your work with your clients will begin with discovery and pre-qualification, and conclude when your candidate is awarded their franchise. You'll be their expert, coach, and mentor as they navigate the process of getting a franchise business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead generation to find and engage with aspiring business owners
- Conduct discovery calls with clients to understand their business needs and objectives
- Utilize Franbyte's extensive portfolio of over 1000 franchises across 40 industries to research and identify franchise opportunities that align with client preferences and financial goals.
- Pre-qualify candidates with the brands of interest and conduct brand presentations meeting with candidates.
- Coach your candidates through several steps with the franchisors from introduction to award day.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by offering personalized guidance and maintaining regular communication throughout the franchise acquisition journey.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues that arise
- Coordinate with clients, franchisors, legal and funding teams to ensure smooth project management and timely execution of activities during the franchise acquisition journey
- Do all of the above in strict compliance with Federal Trade Commission requirements and Franbyte’s code of business ethics.
Skills:
- Proficient in business consulting, marketing, consultative sales or customer relationship
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain communication and relationships with clients
- Current or prior experience as a franchise owner, real estate broker, mortgage broker, business coach, investment agent, current franchisee, preferred but not required

Note: This is NOT a salaried, W-2 position. This is a 100% commission independent contractor opportunity. Average commission per franchise signing is $14,000 to $16,000. Average number of signings achieved annually by franchise consulting professionals in our association is 15.
Candidates selected to join the Franbyte Business Consulting LLC team of agents must be certified in franchise sales. If a candidate doesn't have their CFC, they will be required to complete training and certification before they can begin working as a franchise consultant. The cost of training, to be covered by you, is $5,600.
Your training package includes:
- Five weeks of comprehensive training, during which you will learn everything you need to know about the franchise industry and how to work as a franchise consultant.
- Earning a franchise sales compliance certification to enable you to work as a registered franchise broker.
