The Role
The Customer Support Associate is the main liaison between production and our customers. This position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for providing detailed quotes and initiating the order process. Superior service is our goal. A successful Customer Support Associate has excellent written and verbal communication skills and is detailed-oriented. This position requires excellent organization skills, and the ability to multi-task like a champ.
Key Responsibilities
· Assists walk-in/phone/email customers with order placement and quotes
· Evaluates customers’ needs and budget to provide meaningful suggestions
· Manages the data entry, purchasing of supplies, and artwork associated with custom orders
· Prepares artwork files in Adobe Illustration for screen printing or digitizing for the best production results
· Maintains accurate files for artwork proofs and invoicing
· Liaison between production and customer, addressing order concerns or issues in a timely manner
· Uses a variety of marketing and selling techniques to increase opportunities with key accounts
· Establishes meaningful relationships with key accounts to encourage long-lasting partnerships
· Tends to show room, keeping a tidy and engaging space for customers
· Remains informed and up to date on vendor catalogues and offerings
· Works with vendors to correct order discrepancies
Job Details
· Permanent full-time role based out of our 711 Cassat Ave office; location subject to change depending on growth and needs of the company
· Monday – Thursday 7am – 6pm, or Monday - Thursday 8am - 6pm, Friday 8-Noon (No Weekend hours); subject to change depending on growth and needs of the company
· Overtime is rare but may be required on special occasions
· 0% travel required
Key skills and experience required
· 3+ years of proven retail and wholesale customer service experience, sales experience a plus
· 2+ years inventory management and purchasing experience
· Adobe Illustrator experience highly preferred
· Organizational skills with high attention to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as mathematical skills
· Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time
· Must be able to lift 40lbs.
