Chiropractic Administrative Assistant is the first face that patients see when they walk into the office. They are the last face they see before leaving. They are the person who is their point of contact on record keeping, bill management, and scheduling appointments. A Chiropractic Administrative Assistant is also the first person whom patients speak to about their pain, injuries, and ailments in the treatment rooms.
Which means that the ideal Chiropractic Administrative Assistant for our practice is personable, friendly, professional; someone who can reassure people who are in pain that they will be helped, remembered, and valued to the practice.
They must also be able to speak and write in a concise, cohesive, grammatically correct manner; they must be able to receive directions and follow them accurately, as well as being a self-starter, being willing and able to independently find productive activities within the clinic to complete without constant oversight.
A Chiropractic Administrative Assistant must be willing to work promptly, whether assisting the Doctor with a patient’s care, or cleaning examination rooms to maintain clinic hygiene. They must be able to answer the phone quickly and professionally, take accurate information from callers, and able to discern where calls need to be directed. An ideal applicant must be willing and capable of multi-tasking: able to pause their current task to receive instruction, complete their directed task, and return to previous work without oversight.
No clinical experience is required (some office experience is preferred), so long as the applicant is willing to be taught, and willing to learn—we are willing to train the right candidate.
Must be able to operate and cooperate in a team environment. Moderate skill level in computer experience is a must (Mac experience is preferred). We are open six days per week, so availability some Saturdays is mandatory.
