Reports To General Manager
Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain standard policies & procedures (SOP) and controlled
(GMP & HACCP) document systems, in compliance with current good manufacturing practices and BRC regulations.
Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
Maintain and improve product quality by completing product and compliance audits, investigate customer complaints and collaborate with other members of management to resolve product issues.
Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identify critical control points and preventative measures, establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions and verification procedures.
Assign projects, set goals, monitor progress, evaluate resources and efficiencies, assist and facilitate when and when needed for the efficient accomplishment of goals and projects.
Continually updates job knowledge by studying trends and developments in quality management; participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations.
Ensures that personnel are properly trained and training is documented, effective and provided on a regular basis per policy.
Provide direct support, leadership and direction to the QA staff.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production operations.
Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
Able to coach and teach employees
Ability to react quickly to unforeseeable circumstances
Some proficiency with computer software systems (MS-Excel, Outlook, Word and any other Enterprise Resource Planning software)
Preferred Special Skills:
Bilingual
Physical Demands Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Bending, Standing, Walking, and Lifting for extended periods of time.
Able to work overtime as required.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
