Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health disorders
- Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Implement interventions as directed by the clinical team
- Monitor and document patient progress, behaviors, and vital signs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
-Supervision of medication administration
Experience:
- Experience working with children and adolescents with mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, or special education background is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices
- Familiarity with crisis management techniques and applied behavior analysis
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in patient care
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
