Job Title: Document & Data Control Specialist
Location: Anywhere in the US - EST time zone preferable - EST working schedule
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years Sourcing or Supply Chain Management experience,
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and management of engineering documentation that defines supplier requirements on a purchase order.
- Document Specialist (DS) and change control processes for specific procurement or project-related activities; provide DS procurement consultation to the business team.
- Manage documentation submittals from customers, suppliers, and internal partners based on project deliverable requirements.
- Support processing supplier documentation from the issuance of a purchase order until the documentation is submitted as a record in the GEH Records Repository.
- Perform Responsible Document Specialist (RDS) reviews of technical documentation ensuring that the documentation meets all the DS requirements for submittal.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the DS process and tools within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Create, upload, and manage records in the PLM tool.
- Support business in reporting and tracking activities and in preparation of presentations and reports.
- Implement assignments on time, with high quality, following approved policies, plans, or procedures.
- Participate in DS-related activities with interfacing internal groups [e.g., other engineering teams, Project Management, Sourcing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs] as well as external organizations [e.g., parent company entities, partners, suppliers, regulators
- Manage documentation submittals from customers, suppliers, and internal partners based on project deliverable requirements.
- Ensure document management procedures including the use of proper structure and templates are adhered to by all parties.
- Resolve any non-conformances and process on time.
- Ensure ongoing conformance to quality assurance program requirements, standards, and practices.
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
Investigate problem areas and platform needs and develop recommendations for platform development programs and maintenance
Education
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University
- Behavioral and/or Technical Know-how
- Lean experience (e.g.Kaizen, VSM)
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Proven organizational skills in cross-functional organizations
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-site global team environment

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
