Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate is expected to manage a case load as well as provide support to other attorneys, including research, writing and court appearances. The candidate should have strong motivational and organizational skills as well as exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda
- Represent clients in court proceedings or before government agencies
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
- Provide legal advice to clients
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the state bar association and in good standing
- Strong knowledge and experience in legal drafting, negotiation, estate planning, legal administrative tasks, legal research, and family law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
