The Green Collective Eatery is looking for highly motivated BOH and food prep flex position.
The Green Collective is a fast-casual breakfast and lunch eatery in the Denver Lower Highlands neighborhood serving smoothies, smoothie bowls, salads, toasts, adaptogenic lattes, coffee, and tea. We believe that food should not only taste great, but make you feel even better. That is why our menu is health centric, refined sugar free, and packed with superfoods. Back of house employees will be responsible for washing and preparing produce, making salad dressing, sauces, and other menu items that require preparation. BOH will be responsible for keeping a clean, organized kitchen and prep space. They will also assist in inventory by alerting managers when items are running low.
Juicers will be responsible for washing and preparing produce, weighing produce for batches, juicing and bottling juices.
BOH will do dishes when dishwasher is not present.
Qualifications:
Food prep experience in a commercial kitchen
Positive, can-do attitude
Technical and efficient culinary skills
Servsafe Certification is a plus
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Cut and organize fresh produce
Prep salad dressings, protein bites, muesli, spreads, soups, chicken salad, eggs, etc
Organize and arrange prepped items
Keep workstation immaculately clean and sanitized
Ensure timely completion of the Daily Checklist throughout your shift
Report directly to Managers and Ownership team
Taking out trash
Utilize dish washer and hand wash dishes
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to regularly move boxes, weighing up to 55 pounds, throughout the store.
Must be able to constantly position self to bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shifts.
Must be able to tolerate exposure to food allergens (almonds, cashews)
Must be able to work various shifts per week and weekends.
Must be able to be on your feet for up to 6 hours
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

- Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies and smoothie bowls to customers
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the smoothie bar area
- Follow health and safety guidelines in food preparation and handling
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Experience: previous experience in the food industry, particularly in making smoothies or working with coffee beverages, is preferred
