Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the work of multiple project teams while supporting the Project Management Team with coordination of activities, resources, and information.
The Project Coordinator is expected to provide support to project management and complete project deliverables effectively and on time. This position requires strong time management and analytical ability, excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to perform project oversight and make value-added conclusions.
Essential Functions
- Identify and work to remove barriers to successful completion of the overall project, with particular emphasis on resolving issues with subcontractors.
- Work with routes and scheduling crews.
- Provide timely project status updates to the Project Team
- Create and track contracts, purchase orders, submittals, and complete project close-out manuals.
- Monitor project costs
- Manage and interpret specifications, drawings, and contracts
- Maintain field-level client relationships
- Identify and communicate scope changes to Project Manager, Superintendent and Foreman
- Communicate environmental and punch list items
- Ensure compliance with project plan
- Perform risk management analysis
- Maintain project processes and procedures
- Perform quality checks to project deliverables for correctness and consistency
- Communication with Office Administration
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Strong Microsoft Office Skills, specifically EXCEL
· Strong spelling, composition, and grammar skills.
· Critical thinking, time management, problem solving and analytical skills.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred although not required.
- Experience in the gas facilities, meter, city gate and compressor stations field is preferred.
- Project Management experience is preferred although not required.
- Earned value management knowledge is preferred although not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
