Position Overview:
The objective of this position is to ensure the ultimate level in technical customer service though all stages of a customer's buying cycle from initial contact to order placement. The right candidate is technical, passionate, confident, and finds fulfillment in exceeding customer expectations and building trusting relationships. This position requires an engineering degree and will provide technical support to our speciality hazardous gas system customers (SEMI-GAS, VERSA-GAS, and ARM), and includes various engineering responsbilities including running engineering calcuations, completing preliminary system design, and developing complex system pricing.
Responsibilities Include:

Receive and respond to incoming e-mail and telephone inquiries

Interpret technical specifications

Perform calculations for gas/liquid flow, exhaust flow, and electrical requirements

Understand customer requirements, guiding customers to the right product for their application

Prepare P&ID's, production specifications, and support documents for bids and RFQ's

Complete timely follow-ups

Develop proposals and quotations

Provide value added customer service through superior product knowledge

Effectively negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms and conditions

Set and manage customer expectations

Promote and cross-reference company products and services, providing technical guidance

Identify and foster new customer relationships, as well as maintain and grow existing ones

Coordinate with Engineering and Customer Service to resolve customer issues

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)

2+ years' experience in specialty gas equipment or technical sales preferred

Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings

Ability to analyze and understand costs for highly engineering products

Proficient with Microsoft Office
