Medical Assistant/LPN- 1 Year Experience
Great opportunity for a skilled medical assistant for a fast paced, expanding multi physician orthopedic practice. An LPN would be a HUGE plus!
The medical assistant will be responsible for checking patients out, assisting in surgical procedures, rooming patients, taking a brief history, fitting patients with DME, and casting. Clerical duties may include injection appointment scheduling, telephone answering, and assisting with medical record requests.
-Must be able learn quickly and multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Experience with making appointments
-Familiarity with FMLA paperwork, DWC 25 paperwork, Disability paperwork very helpful
-Strong work ethic
-Ability to learn computer programs quickly
-At least 1 year of medical assisting in orthopedics strongly preferred
