**Job Title: Pump Maintenance Manager**
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Pump Maintenance Manager to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of all pumps within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted operation of pumps, managing spare parts inventory, and coordinating repair and replacement activities to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Pump Operation Oversight:** Monitor the operation of all pumps to ensure they function efficiently and reliably.
- **Maintenance Planning:** Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for all pumps to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous operation.
- **Spare Parts Management:** Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and consumables necessary for pump repairs and replacements.
- **Repair and Replacement:** Coordinate and perform repairs and replacements of pumps as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- **Troubleshooting:** Diagnose pump issues and implement effective solutions to resolve them promptly.
- **Documentation:** Keep accurate records of pump maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
- **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance and repair activities.
- **Team Coordination:** Work closely with maintenance technicians and other relevant personnel to schedule and execute maintenance tasks efficiently.
- **Vendor Relations:** Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for pump parts and services, including negotiating contracts and pricing.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in pump maintenance and operation, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of pump systems, including centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, etc.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints related to pump systems.
- Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling software/tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to perform hands-on repairs and replacements.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in pump maintenance and operation (preferred).
**Working Conditions:**
- This position primarily operates in an industrial environment where exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, and various weather conditions may occur.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts when necessary.
