Purchasing Administrator
Premier has been deemed an Essential Business as a manufacturer of Scientific consumables for the industrial laboratory markets worldwide. We currently have an opening for Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities
· Provide support to managers & other employees by handling variety of office tasks to ensure that all interactions between the organization and others are positive and productive
· Facilitate processing of orders, ensuring all required paperwork has been provided.
· Follows purchasing /order entry SOP’s practices and uses good judgment while performing assigned duties.
· Receiving items, entering bills, labeling products
·Maintain good relationships with vendors/customers
· Processing sales orders & coordinate corresponding purchase orders in Quick Books to full-fill the order with accuracy
· Coordinate/Communicate with vendors regarding estimated lead times.
· Select best sources consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements
· Provide updates regarding the status of open purchase orders
· Cross train/ multitask within the administrative department
· Reconcile shipping bills facilitate shipping disputes, when needed.
Reports to: Manager
Qualifications
· Excellent communication skills
· Must be able to write professional emails in English
· Detail Oriented / Problem Solving Skills
· Maintain accurate records
· 2+ years of experience in this field or related field.
· Punctual, meticulous, and reliable
· Competent with Excel and Quick Books
· Ability to prioritize and multitask
