Road Warrior is searching for a natural leader who is ready to make an impact by leading day-to-day operations over multiple locations. The ideal candidate has a passion for strategy and is as interested in achieving business results as they are in making connections with customers and colleagues. This position is responsible for leading a team, organizing operational activities, and executing Road Warrior’s vision.
This position will also oversee inventory control at both our Muncie and Indianapolis locations. Duties will include monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels with physical counts and reconciliation, negotiating parts purchasing, and investigating any problems with inventory/purchasing.
Education and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years experience in an automotive or truck repair shop/environment

Well rounded mechanical knowledge pertaining to auto/truck repair

3-5 years of management experience

Associates or Bachelors Degree in business or related field

Understand Road Warrior’s vision and empower your team to reach their full potential. Hold them accountable for branch success by positively leading the way.

Work closely with accounting personnel and Operations Coordinators to ensure daily work assignments are being completed satisfactorily.

Handle customer complaints, settle disputes, resolve grievances, negotiate and diffuse conflicts.

Heavy use of Full-Bay and QuickBooks software.

Work at multiple Road Warrior locations to ensure they are operating smoothly and efficiently according to our company vision, guidelines for conduct, profit, and customer care.

Use innovation, creativity, and delegation to support and drive business growth.

Be a leader and always encourage teamwork and unity.

Regularly report and communicate status updates about work assignments and deadlines to the Chief of Staff.

Ensuring compliance with company quality, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Encourage safe work practices in the shop and on job sites.

Perform other duties as needed and when applicable.

Develop positive morale by improving relationships, trust, and team building.
What you bring to the table:
-
Proficient with QuickBooks, Full-Bay, PCs, tablets, smart phones, and keyboarding skills.

Able to instruct, train, and lead operations crew.

Able to fill in for Operations Coordinator, Service Advisor, and Parts Specialist roles.

Able to oversee daily work being done by all Operations roles and catch mistakes, oversights, and software glitches.

Strong attention to details.

Always demonstrate a respectful and courteous attitude toward customers.

Able to drive customer/company vehicles when needed.

Respect company property.

Demonstrate ethical handling of customer/company money as it pertains to each specific situation.

Keep company information confidential from other employees due to the sensitive nature of such information accessible by the shop manager including but not limited to the following: payroll, sales, taxes, financial institution accounts, etc.

Keep customer/company alarm codes and passwords confidential.

Salary: Starting Pay $65-95K with bonus potential based on performance.
