We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team and play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare to our clients.
Position Overview: As a Nurse Practitioner at Midwest Detox, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to ensure the well-being of individuals undergoing detoxification and residential treatment for substance abuse. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with addiction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments of clients upon admission and throughout their stay.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
- Monitor and manage withdrawal symptoms and medical conditions during the detoxification process.
- Provide ongoing medical care and education to clients regarding their health and recovery.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other collaborative activities to discuss client progress and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide support and education to clients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Stay informed about current developments in addiction medicine and healthcare practices.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Wisconsin
- Experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of detoxification protocols and evidence-based practices in addiction treatment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $125.00 - $200.00 per hour
