Position Overview:
We seek a skilled Practitioner (PA, ARNP, PhC) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician, focusing on a wide range of medical specialties and patient populations. As an integral part of our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) practice, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients struggling with substance use disorders and related conditions. Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with substance use disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician and other healthcare team members.
Provide medication management and monitoring for patients undergoing medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
Offer counseling and support services to patients and their families to address the physical, emotional, and social aspects of addiction.
Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and community resources to ensure continuity of care and support for patients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner or Pharmacist Clinician.
Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner or Pharmacist Clinician.
Controlled Substance License from NM Board of Pharmacy and DEA number
Previous experience working in addiction medicine or a related field is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
