```Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Duties: - Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) - Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with ASD - Collect data on client progress and behavior - Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed - Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistent implementation of interventions - Maintain accurate and detailed records of client sessions and progress - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients Experience: - Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities is preferred - Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques - Familiarity with medical terminology related to autism and behavioral therapy - Experience in data collection and analysis - Understanding of special education practices and strategies Skills: - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals with ASD and their families - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans accurately - Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with ASD - Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information - Proficiency in using technology for data collection and documentation This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with autism.
