MUSHT HAVE: Experience in Private Label/Blending/Formulation/Tolling and Bottling industry.
SUMMARY: Develop and increase sales into multiple sectors and to demonstrate consistent increase period over period.
Duties:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer accounts
- Provide exceptional customer service before and after the sale
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with multiple internal and external customers
- Achieve year over year annual sales growth and gross margin targets
- Operate within expense budget guidelines, reports, and policies
- Develop new sales business for new and existing customers
- Microsoft Office package/excellent PC skill
- Independent problem-solving/analytical skills
- Record of sales achievements
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Perform other duties as required
- FDA, Marina, Pet Industry, Hardware, ISSA, Etc.
Skills:
- Proven experience in technical sales or related field
- Strong negotiation and account management skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms
- Excellent sales acumen with a focus on achieving results
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
- Excel/Spreadsheet
- Knowledge of business development strategies
- Familiarity with technology sales trends
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 2-5 years of successful Inside/outside sales experience
- Experience in chemical/blending/tolling/co-packing a plus
- Experience in the following industries a PLUS: Pet Care, ISSA, Hardware, Personal Care Products, Private/White Label.
- Ability to travel
- lift/carry between 25-40 lbs.
