Job Summary:
This position ensures the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders. This position reports to the Facilities Manager.
Essential Functions:
The day to day tasks of this position will be:

Responds to and completes club work orders, insuring excellent quality of service.

Performs general maintenance projects as assigned, including installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical equipment, carpentry work, painting, and equipment repair.

Knowledgeable of all property emergency, safety/disaster plans and procedures.

Responds promptly to emergencies. Will rotate as on-call service technician as necessary.

Maintains office, shops, storage and mechanical areas to Club standards.

Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.

Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward Club members and co-workers.

May run errands to Home Depot, vendors or other off property assignments by use of the company vehicle

Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Education/Experience:
-
3-5 years experience in building maintenance repair work
-
Meticulous work ethic is a must
-
Prior Country Club experience is preferred
-
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
-
Trouble Shooting knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical repair
-
2-3 years Basic Electrical skills required
-
Dry-wall, mudding and painting skills required
-
Good mechanical ability
-
Must practice safety at all times
