Southwest Aviation is a General Aviation Repair Facility located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The successful candidate will service, repair, and maintain our fleet aircraft as well as managed and incoming client aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Salary based on experience.
Responsibilities:
· Inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft assemblies including engines, wings, fuselage, tail, landing gear, control cables, propeller and fuel system using specialized tools to repair or replace components.
· Consult manufacturers’ manuals and aircraft maintenance publications for specifications to determine the extent of repair or replacement according to malfunction.
· Inspect engines for defects and correct any problems according to the specifications of the MFG Maintenance Publications.
· Replace or repair worn or damaged components
· Perform engine changes
· Clean parts, using cleaning solvents for inspection
Qualifications and Skills
- Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.
- Must have general aviation aircraft maintenance experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Team-oriented.
- Highly organized and thorough in performing duties and completing paperwork.
- Able to read and understand technical publications.
- Knowledge of MSDS precautions.
- Aircraft maintenance: 3 years (Required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
