The Director of Nursing supervises all nursing operations to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. They are also tasked with coaching and mentoring staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to offer the best care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide nursing staff in diverse settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home health agencies.
- Create and apply nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work with various healthcare providers to arrange patient care plans.
- Track patient outcomes and quality improvement initiatives.
- Regularly assess nursing staff performance and give feedback for professional growth.
- Confirm precise documentation of patient records and compliance with clinical terminology standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong background in nurse management and supervision
- Experience in acute care, nursing home, assisted living, and home health settings
