JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
ScheduLogic is a course scheduling software platform that offers schools the ability to enhance student and faculty well-being by optimizing the use of time and space during the school day. As an Educational Scheduling Specialist, your role is pivotal in empowering educational institutions to streamline their scheduling processes, optimize resources, and create a conducive learning environment for students and faculty. Your dedication to customer support and your technical expertise will directly contribute to the success and efficiency of academic institutions using the ScheduLogic platform, making a tangible difference in their operations.
Responsibilities:

Customer Support:
-
Provide prompt and professional customer support to educational institutions using ScheduLogic

Collaborate with school personnel to gather and understand their unique scheduling requirements and challenges

Conduct comprehensive training sessions for school administrators and staff, empowering them to use the software effectively.

Promptly answer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and assist users in utilizing the platform effectively.

Design and create efficient schedules that meet the school's academic and operational needs

Assist with managing annual subscription renewals

Data Management:
-
Clean and prepare data for schedule implementation, address data quality issues and inconsistencies, and transform raw data into a structured format suitable for analysis.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry, including student information, faculty availability, and course offerings.

Regularly review and update the platform to reflect changes in the school's offerings or academic calendar.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

Work closely with the ISM Technology Team to identify and address technical issues within the ScheduLogic
-
Ensure minimal disruption to users by promptly troubleshooting and resolving issues
-
Maintain ownership of and communication with customers throughout the lifecycle of a customer’s request.

Continuous Improvement:

Gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement in the ScheduLogic system.

Collaborate with the Educational Scheduling Manager to suggest enhancements and new features

Team Support:

Train junior Educational Scheduling Specialists

Perform additional functions that may be assigned by management

Sales and Marketing Support:

Assist in product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients

Proactively identify upselling opportunities and promote customer loyalty
Qualifications and Skills:
-
Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Prior experience in educational administration, student scheduling, or using SaaS platforms in an educational setting is preferred.

Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel

Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple school schedules simultaneously.

Patience when handling tough cases or customers
-
Excellent and professional communication skills to provide effective customer support and conduct training sessions.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data entry and schedule implementation.

Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and find solutions to scheduling challenges.

Familiarity with education-related software and technology is a plus.
