Description & Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to several C-suite executives. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented and resourceful professional adept at managing multiple priorities and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Hybrid role requiring presence in the Mclean, VA office 2 to 4 days per week as dictated by the Executive's schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage complex calendars by applying a clear understanding of business priorities, ensuring executives are properly prepared/briefed and kept informed of urgent business developments, data calls and timelines.
- Frequent travel coordination and complex expense report reporting for multiple executives.
- Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Executive, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
- Create and update Microsoft Office presentations necessary for ongoing projects and essential briefings. Draft communications for the internal team.
- Support planning meetings and prepare meeting materials prior to scheduled events, including meeting agendas, handouts, meeting notes, etc., and support the execution of actual meetings. Attend meetings and prepare minutes/summary briefs.
- Heavy calendar scheduling and optimize calendar for meetings for multiple executives.
- Arrange detailed domestic travel plans, itineraries, and agendas.
- Work closely and effectively with the assigned executives to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
- Understand broad knowledge of departmental and company practices to assist leadership team and staff while exercising judgment on critical nature of information and confidentiality.
- Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the executive's office and their teams/direct reports.

Requirements:
- US Citizenship
- Strong communication skills
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required and 4+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Candidate must have 4 years experience supporting C - Level Executives
- Superior level written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
- Expertise with the most current versions of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues.
- Understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions.
- Communicate on complex or sensitive issues or draft such responses for supervisor or team lead executives.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
