People Wellness Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) to join our team. The BCaBA will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to design and implement behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and provide direct therapy to individuals with autism. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the lives of our clients and their families through evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments.
- Provide direct therapy and support to individuals with autism in various settings (home, school, community).
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff.
- Collaborate with clients' families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, assessments, and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Current certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $60,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
