Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Associate to join our team. As a Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for managing the movement and storage of goods in our warehouse. Your primary duties will include daily orders processing via our system, online shipping, packaging, picking, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts is preferred.
Duties:
- Processing daily POs (Purchased Order) accurately and efficiently to fulfill orders.
- Pack, load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage of goods
- Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory and update records
- Organize and maintain stock in the warehouse
- Operate equipment likes forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including inspecting incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or a lifter.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 30 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an efficient workflow
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
