Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ability to adapt and learn the Montessori philosophy
- Bilingual a plus
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants
- Give bottles to infants as provided by parents
- Feed infants solid foods as age-appropriate and provided by parents
- Change diapers as needed
- Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them
- Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age-appropriate Montessori materials
- Put infants in cribs for nap time
- Ensure play, sleep, and changing areas are kept clean
Experience and Education
Candidates must have a CDA, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent certificate and experience in early childhood education. Experience working with infants desired. Montessori training (AMI/AMS) is a plus. Candidate must be diligent, self-motivated and compassionate.
This is a full time position. The school boasts of a great work environment along with friendly, dedicated and long term staff. School has a rich tradition teachers and parent community.
Work schedule will be 8:15a.m. - 5:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.
