Position Description
The Draft Beer Service Technician (DST) position involves servicing draft beer equipment at bars, restaurants, and breweries. Candidates for this position can expect it to be very hands-on and mechanically based but we provide you with all the ongoing training, tools, and resources you need to be successful!
In addition to mechanical skills, customer service skills are expected as employees communicate with customers directly regarding assigned installations, timelines, route coverage, etc.
This is a full-time position. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm. Hours may vary and may require evening and weekend work depending on business needs. Travel may be required as a part of this position and is usually limited to weekdays.

Working knowledge of draft beer systems/experience in related industries (preferred but not required)

Cicerone certification is required of all current AHFP employees
Responsibilities
-
Assist with route coverage when needed including AM accounts and venues.

Carry out quarterly preventive maintenance (PM) contracts

Attend the necessary facilities to become Micro Matic certified if requested.

Attend, as assigned, all other training deemed necessary by AHFP.

Work with and provide training to other employees

Maintain effective and professional working relationships with assigned accounts, sales representatives, and draft tech department personnel

Effectively manage all equipment to include care and maintenance and inventory of assigned equipment and tools
