PAY GRADE: Salary
COMPENSATION RANGE: $60,000-$65,000
JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a talented Content Graphic Designer to join Backcountry! The ideal candidate will have experience in creating visually appealing design for our long-form videos and written blog content. As a Content Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the Director of Content, Sr Content Manager, videographers and editors to develop engaging and compelling multimedia content that aligns with our brand identity and messaging.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop creative concepts and execute graphic designs for our long / short form videos and written blog content. This includes but not limited to: product callouts, title cards, designing blogs, thumbnails, ad design, storyboarding, etc.
- Create visually appealing design for videos that enhance our online shopping experience.
- Collaborate with Director of Content, Sr Content Manager, Videographers, Editors to produce launch assets using industry-standard software and tools, including Figma, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Collaborate with the Content Director, Marketing and Creative teams to plan and execute video projects that align with our brand and marketing strategies.
- Ensure that assets are uploaded to corresponding channels, with launch assets, and are optimized for online distribution
- Research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in design and motion graphics to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance our multimedia content.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in motion graphics design, with a strong portfolio of work showcasing your abilities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Figma and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of motion graphics design principles, typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for outdoor activities and an understanding of our target market is a plus. #BHP #LI-SE1
