SUMMARY
This full-time position will be responsible for fixing and performing routine maintenance on cranes, skid steers, boom lifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, midi excavators, pump trucks, and other equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Focus will be on electrical, hydraulics, and diesel engines on cranes, skid steers, boom lifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, midi excavators, pump trucks
· At times may work on forklifts, welders, generators, pickup trucks
· Diagnose and repair equipment as needed, researching as necessary
· Order parts for repairs, working with vendors
· Oil changes and preventative maintenance on equipment
· Operate equipment for testing and loading/unloading of trucks
· Make rounds to jobsites 2-3 times per year to fix equipment
· Pressure wash equipment
· Communicate with field personnel regarding trouble-shooting of equipment
· Communicate with office staff regarding needed equipment
· Keep computer records and notes of equipment repaired and maintained
· Respond to e-mails and compose e-mails and similar requests regarding equipment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3 years diesel mechanic experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Heavy equipment experience is a plus
- Class A – CDL license is a plus
- Computer experience including Outlook and Excel
- Good knowledge of electrical, hydraulics and diesel engines
- Ability to operate forklift
- Must be able to understand and perform written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
- Must have your own basic tools

- Hourly rate: $28-50/hour, depending on experience and skill set
