Overview
A Teacup Sales Associates is responsible to work with our clients selecting their new baby and all of the beautiful things that are needed to bring home their new baby. Sales associates are responsible for educating our clients on the different breeds, sizes, and colors providing a great experience for our new parents.
Essential Functions:
- Drive and achieve a wonderful client experience.
- Manage the sales floor working with clients on questions and assisting them in their selections.
- Ensure that the clients are serviced and have a wonderful client experience in selecting a puppy or merchandise.
- Maintain communication with all team members, store managers, and owners to support the sales process, promos, and product knowledge.
- Identify best selling merchandise and key items; communicate merchandise needs weekly to the appropriate departments.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Previous sales experience (Neiman’s, Victoria Secret, Saks)
Communication Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers, and all levels of management.
- Ability to understand clients' needs and to be able to assist them in getting the puppy they want.
Mathematical Skills:
- Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Able to use a calculator.
Reasoning Ability:
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands:
- This position involves substantial bending, lifting, standing, walking, and enjoy working with puppies and rescue dogs.
- Involves moving and/or lifting up to 30 lbs.
Other Skills:
- Ability to collaborate and as a member of a team.
- Demonstrate an energetic and positive attitude, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess vision, dedication, and overall kindness to all human being and canines.
Work Hours:
- Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays, based on department and store needs. The schedule can vary.
Pay varies and is based on experience.
