We are seeking a highly skilled and accountable Software Solution Project Engineer to oversee all engineering and technical disciplines for our projects involving our material handling and identification systems with an emphasis on the software systems. The ideal candidate will manage project requirements from conception to completion, ensuring accuracy, quality, and alignment with our innovative warehouse automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design Warehouse Automation solutions based on customer data, layout, process flow and software requirements.
- Develop Scope of Work, Description of Operation and other technical documentation supporting project design, development, and execution of projects.
- Support Sales and Business Development with solution building and analysis required for pre-sale proposal process, including but not limited to data analysis, AutoCAD layouts, simulations, and design documents.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects with Project Management and Planning teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Interact daily with clients to understand their needs and requirements, providing technical support and representation.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Installation and Commissioning teams for smooth delivery of projects.
- Collaborate effectively and proactively with Product Management team to provide inputs on new solution offerings based on customer needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Support current install-base customers with technical questions, troubleshooting issues, and new feature requests.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Robotics, Software, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years of professional Project Engineering or Solution Development work experience in the field of Warehouse Automation, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, and or Material Handling
- Experience working with WCS/WES software with strong automation integration and process design experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in designing machine and automation equipment layouts in AutoCAD.
- Strong decision-making ability with ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with industry rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Experience with simulation tools.
Work Location: remote/onsite hybrid or possible full remote
Travel expected: up to 20% travel

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
