Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting T&D tech with expertise in polymer science. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and commercialization of new polymer-based products. This role requires a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of polymer materials and their applications.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development and optimization of new polymer-based thermoforming products from concept to commercialization.
- Conduct research and experiments to explore new polymer formulations and processing techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing to ensure product feasibility and alignment with market needs.
- Analyze and interpret data from experiments and trials to guide product development decisions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to polymer materials and product performance.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to polymer materials.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and development efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Technical degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field preferred not a must.
- Proven experience in polymer product development, including formulation, processing, and testing.
- Strong understanding of polymer chemistry, material properties, and application development.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software related to polymer analysis and development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scale-up processes and transitioning products from lab to production.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in the polymer industry.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
