GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Salesforce Administrator handles managing and improving Salesforce systems, including user and license management, support, training, and system upgrades. They ensure effective use of Salesforce tools and collaborate with stakeholders to meet organizational requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Configure and customize Salesforce to meet the needs of the organization, including custom fields, workflows, validation rules, and process automation.

Provide daily user support, troubleshooting issues, and responding to user inquiries promptly.

Create and support user accounts, profiles, roles, permissions sets, and sharing rules.

Develop and support reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key business metrics.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.

Train inexperienced users and provide ongoing training and support to existing users.

Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and make recommendations for enhancements or improvements.

Manage integrations with other systems, ensuring data integrity and smooth operation.

Perform regular data maintenance activities, including data imports, exports, and cleanup.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) required; additional certifications such as Salesforce Advanced Administrator or Salesforce Developer a plus.

Salesforce Advanced Administrator and Business Analyst certifications will be required within the first year of employment.

2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role.
DEPARTMENTAL EXPECTATION:

Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.

Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and process builder.

Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
