KRYTON Engineered Metals is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will oversee and execute the purchasing process(es). Also be responsible to the financial contraints as it pertains to raw material and component inventory.
Selected employee would be responsible for:
· Maintain fiscally responsible, yet appropriate inventory levels to ensure material availability required to support the goal of 100% on-time-delivery
· Vendor oversite & execution of applicable spending
· Diversify supply base to hedge against material shortages and other economic volatility
· Collaborate with Kryton’s internal teams and suppliers to resolve any applicable quality issues
· Detailed communication with vendors to ensure timely receipt of material
· Negotiate pricing on incoming supplies & material
· Create purchase orders for incoming supplies & material
· Receive raw material into ERP system
· Issue raw material to work orders
· Oversite of applicable contracts & overall vendor accountability
· Develop & maintain a centralized vendor management database
· Engage in applicable continuous improvement projects and TOC (Theory of Constraints) methodologies in the plant
