Job Summary:
We are a smaller beachfront property that is looking for reliable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our friendly hotel staff. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas of the establishment. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining specific areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects or prolonged periods of standing
