Higginbotham, a privately held, independent insurance and financial services firm that ranks within the top 20 nationwide, has an immediate opening for a Wholesale Brokerage Account Manager for our Fort Worth, TX office.
The Wholesale Brokerage Account Manager in this office will assist the Wholesale Brokers in new and renewal account production. Includes new and renewal marketing, handling retail production teams’ questions and requests, performing coverage reviews, and account administration activities.
Duties include, but are not limited to, Service and Support of retail producer’s clients and the organization’s wholesale brokers. The candidate can expect to:
- Prepare and present commercial insurance solutions
- Re-market existing insurance policies to improve the retail producer’s ability to manage their client’s risk
- Work with business and insurance professionals to place new business and renew commercial insurance policies
- Amend insurance policies to meet the unique needs of the retail producer’s clients
- Earn professional licenses and certifications
- Respond to retail production teams’ inquiries and change requests and collaborate with insurance carriers appropriately
- Other duties as assigned
- Location:
- Fort Worth, TX
- Hybrid work schedule available for qualified candidates
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of previous experience in commercial insurance preferred
- General Lines Agent Property & Casualty License required
- Systems:
- IMS (Vertafore) experience preferred, or knowledge of a similar Vertafore system will help with the learning curve
