Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services or designate administrator, the Transportation Coordinator shall be responsible for the development, coordination, and maintenance of transportation services for the District. The Transportation Coordinator will assist with the development of the annual transportation budget, as well as preparing state, local, and federal reports. The Transportation Coordinator operates within the framework of District policies adopted by the Board of Education, the legal requirements as stipulated in the Education Code, the California Vehicle Code and the rules and regulations of the California Highway Patrol pertaining to student transportation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Logistics, Urban Planning, or a related field and five years of experience in public transportation services, one year of which must have included supervisory responsibilities. Additional experience may be substituted for higher education on a year for year basis.
Licenses and Certificates
Valid California driver’s license.
